SPRING 2010 newsletter

Memorial Day

Sunday 5/30/2010 – Memorial Service 10 AM at Creek Community Church on Creek Road, Delavan. Meet at Legion Hall at 930 AM we will travel and enter the church as a group.

Monday 5/31/2010 – Meet at Legion Hall for assembly at 830 AM. Parade starts at 9 AM sharp, parade goes to Spring Grove/St. Andrews Cemetery. M/C will be Gordon Yadon, guest speaker is Aaron Nieuwenhuis, and Iraqi Freedom veteran. During the program there will be a reading of the names of deceased veterans/Post 95 members since Memorial Day 2009. After the Spring Grove Cemetery, there will be a program at the Old Settlers Cemetery. In the case of inclement weather the program will be held at the Delavan-Darien High School.

Unpaid Post members need to get their dues in to 1st Vice Commander George Ballman (728-3558) as soon as possible to help Post 95 achieve 100% paid membership.

Meeting Schedule

As a reminder to all members, Post meetings are held the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:30 PM in the flag lounge.
